You may have tried so often to stop smoking with failure after failure. You can’t lick it. So you give up trying and continue to puff away, even though you know your habit is killing you. You want to stop but the addiction is just too great. So what is it you wish to do? You take two steps in your life. These two steps, if followed will help you tremendously. Every person who is successful in the world, no matter what the profession they may be in, gets help from others. For example, a patient gets help from a doctor. A business gets help from an accountant to help keep his books.

 

The best way to quit is to get a support group to help. This way you are not alone. Get into a good program and stick to it. You’ll be surprised by the amount of help you can get. After you have become smoke-free for a while you will want to keep yourself smoke-free. To do this, when you feel the urge coming on, just take a big deep breath about three times. Release the air slowly through pursed lips. As you exhale, visualize the tension leaving your body. It works every time.

 

The best way to quit is to get help and support. Never try to go it alone.
